Technologies we use
Technology explains the stack behind the service: streaming delivery, content protection, access control, EPG and the platform layer that supports multi-device operation.
Technology foundation
This section summarizes the core technologies that make playback stable, keep access secure and let the platform scale reliably.
Built for scale & security
Just the architecture that makes it work reliably at any scale.
Low-latency HLS / DASH
Adaptive bitrate delivery over HLS and DASH keeps end-to-end latency under 3–6 seconds and automatically adjusts quality to available bandwidth.
Multi-DRM content protection
Widevine for Android & TV, FairPlay for iOS, PlayReady for select Smart TVs. License token exchange is server-side — credentials never touch the client.
Real-time EPG
Electronic programme guide syncs channel schedules and thumbnails in real time. Users always see what's on now and what's up next across every channel.
Single API, all platforms
One backend API serves Smart TV, iOS and Android simultaneously. Channel lists, subscriptions and preferences update once and reflect everywhere instantly.
Token-based access control
JWT authentication with server-side entitlement check per stream request. No active subscription — no stream. Device limits configurable per account.
CDN delivery
Video segments served via an optimised CDN layer, reducing origin load and ensuring smooth playback regardless of viewer geography or concurrent users.
